my PE ip is 192.168.0.1, vrf is : TEST

my CE is 192.168.0.2 , in my CE, I run sh ip bgp nei 192.168.0.1 advertised-routes it shows the routes

but when i go to PE, I type: sh ip bgp nei 192.168.0.2 advertised-routes, it shows no such neighbor and address family, so from PE, do I need to change the command to see the routes advertised form PE? thanks

Hi Peter,

Because the interface is associated with a VRF on the PE, you would require something like;

"show ip bgp vpnv4 vrf TEST neighbor 192.168.0.1 advertised"

thanks, but show ip bgp vpnv4 vrf TEST neighbor 192.168.0.1 advertised shows 20 over routes, and sh ip bgp al summ state column only 4 routes, so which one should i  refered to?

Hello

The latter one shows a summary routes - the former will show prefixes that are advertised to that neighbour within the vrf.

So I would say this would be the one

Hi,

"show ip bgp vpnv4 vrf TEST neighbor 192.168.0.1 advertised"

Based on your post, it should be.
