ARP Limit Rate on 3750X

QUARK TARO

I need to set a limit for ARP arriving on the interface. What is the right method to configure it on an uplink port?

Hello,

I don't think you can set a hard limit on the amount of random MAC addresses. You can configure an arp access list, which is basically an IP host to MAC address mapping, which is probably not what you want.

The only option to actually limit the amount of arp entries arriving at the interface is to configure dynamic arp inspection, which is designed as a protection against DoS attacks...
