Hello,
I've a problem regarding the HSRP setup between 2 room. I'm setup hsrp between two 3750 switches with over interface vlan.
I'm test with shutdown 3750 in server room 1. The 3750 in server room 2 are active. but the 2960s switch from server room 1 is down during test with the traceback messages about memory.
*Mar 24 18:59:17.117: %SYS-2-MALLOCFAIL: Memory allocation of 65536 bytes failed from 0x12F04EC, alignment 0

So, My customer need to use HSRP due to they don't have enough cost to replace the L3 switches with 4500X that will come with VSS.
How should we go with HSRP solution ?

Firstly, the time and date of the switch is unreliable. We don't know if this log entry happened today or two years ago.
SpanTree Flush
Traceback is caused by STP flushing the table.
What is the exact IOS version the 2960 is running on?

Hello Cisco Expert,
Is there anyone comment on this?
- Configuration is OK ?
- Firmware is OK ?
- Topology is OK ?
Thanks Leo, interesting on the firmware.
But, I'm thinking about the topology, don't sure the current is good or not ?
