I ran into the same thing after moving to macOS. I’ve been using iTerm2 with screen, works great for simple serial/console access. Serial is another good one, though it’s paid.
Also, you might want to check out Attune, it’s really handy if you manage multiple devices or run scripts across environments. Other options I’ve seen people use are Termius, Zoc, and SecureCRT. Each has its own perks depending on what you need.
