In our test environment I upgraded Sups 720 to Sups 2T. The Sups 2T came with IOS 15.0.1. Looking at to the latest IOS; I found IOS 15.5.1. I upgraded to this version and things seem to be working OK. In the web site, there is also image s2t54-boot-mz.SPA.151-1.SY.bin. Do I need to upgrade the boot image as well? If so, how do I do this? I haven’t been able to find information in Cisco’s web info. Bootvar nor version commands show me which boot image the supervisors 2T are running. Thank you for any information. Nope, don't need it. Example, if you want upgrade to 15.1.1sy1 that came out a few weeks ago, just download it to your flash, change boot statement and reload, that's it.
