I have a WS-C3750G-12S that for the foreseeable future will be used as a standalone switch . Is there a way to reduce or eliminate stack election time to speed up the boot process?
Which version of the IOS you are using? Starting 12.2(35)SE release, the master election window was reduced to 5 seconds if 3750 switch is operating in standalone mode (no stack cables connected).
