May i know why after settings the boot system cmd, the Boot Variables on next reload not changing to c3750-ipbasek9-mz-122-55.SE1.bin? Isnt the Current Boot Variables is the "current ios" & Boot Variables on next reload:is "the next reload ios in boot system command"?
# config t # boot system switch all flash:c3750-ipbasek9-mz-122-55.SE1.bin
sh boot system
---------------------------
Switch 1
---------------------------
Current Boot Variables:
c3750-ipbasek9-mz-122-55.SE1.bin
Boot Variables on next reload:
c3750-ipbasek9-mz-120-10.SE1.bin

Try deleting the boot var before applying new boot statement.
conf t
no boot system switch all
do show boot
boot system switch all flash:x.x.x.x.bin

If it is still playing up after saving the config, please share the output of sh ver
...it could be the configuration register value you have configured.
Cheers,
Seb.

if you did "wr mem" and still not worked, check this:
1. May be you have 3 or more .bin files on flash. (try leaving no more than two files)
2. Check your . bin file and may be download him again.
