Hi,
Is it possible to configure both the nodes in HSRP as standby mode ?. It's a requirement for one of my client for testing purpose.
Appreciated for your quick reply.

Raju,
You cannot have both the routers are HSRP stanby. One router will act as active and the other one as standby.
BTW, what sort of testing requires this setup ?

Thanks for your reply. I think we can make both the nodes as active (for testing purpose only, not in production environ). In that case, we should be make both the nodes as standby mode also.

that is the case when you have loadbalancing with the HSRP. Its like one node is active for the one VLAN/Subnet or you can say for one HSRP group... and Standby for the other VLAN/Subnet or other HSRP group... and other host is having active or standby status for the different VLN/Subnet or Group... in that case node is active as well as standby but for the different variable...
