Branch Router for Skype QoS

Hello

I heard something about Cisco technologies for traffic recognition like NBAR and FPM but not as much as needed

Now I need prioritize Skype in my network and I think about purchasing Cisco router with appropriate features.

I've searched support section of cisco.com but still don't understand which branch routers are support these features and does it support actual version of Skype?

Please help me with choosing...

we indeed do support Skype v5 as part of NBAR, but there's no separate PDLM available for download. So ideally any platform capable of doing NBAR should have this PDLM included. You can have a look at this page:

Q. Which platforms support NBAR2?
A. NBAR2 is only supported on ISR-G2 and ASR1000
