When a switch / hub receives a broadcast frame (Eg: ARP Request) does it forward the frame back to node which sent/transmitted it?
Refer attachment for usecase description.

If it is a hub then the transmitted device may recieve the broadcast because hub doesnt have any intellegence so when the hub receives the packet it just flood the packets to all of its ports including the port where it recieved packet. But switch will not flood any arp request broadcast to the port it received the packet but rest of all the ports.
