Dear Friends,
in my cisco 3560 switch all network are connected.one attendance device also connected with this switch ,some days befor it made a big problem
when i am disconnecting that device my network is working fine and when i am connecting it's making problemand network is down
how to break that problem,please suggest
port confuguration is
int f0/1
switch mode aceess
switch port access vlan 142
spannig tree port fast
spanning tree bpdugard enable

Depends on the type of device you are connecting to that port. You should use port fast only for edge ports i.e PC, laptop, etc. If it is another switch or using some form of switching, then it is not an edge port and you should not configure port fast on it. Remember using port fast doesnt mean you dont see BPDU's. All it does is move to forwarding immeiately and device presence or absence doesnt trigger topology change (TCN)
