BUM control plane options for N9K based VXLAN EVPN BGP

Hi there

i've noticed that widely advertised design for the VXLAN EVPN BGP on Nexuses (N9K particularly) still uses underlay MC to deliver BUM to VXLAN users. correspondingly MC configuration must present on all the leaves in DC & BUM is actually flooded. I was trying to find options of using Type 3 (i dont even say about Types 6-8)but w/o any luck. Did i miss something may be?
