Hi All ,
i have to connect one router to the core switch for redundancy . below are the details
1 - ON ROUTER -----configuring BVI on router to bridge to ethernet ports + BVI interface ip 10.10.10.5/24
2- ON CORE SWITCHES - vss is configured on cisco 6500 - router one port is connected with core 1 and 2nd port is connected with core switch 2
3 - Both core switch ports are in the same vlan (Vlan 10 )
4 - Vlan 10 interface IP Add is 10.10.10.6/24
above scenario will work to give redundant connectivity to the router ??
Note : the router i have mentioned above is internet router

Aslam,
Yes considering if your configuration is correct.
Assuming that the setup is like this;
Internet router
|
|
------------------------------
| |
Switch1 Switch2 { Switches forming the VSS)
It should work perfectly.
