Take the switch out of the equation and directly connect this same machine to the router, what is the result of the speedtest?

Wut?
What is the model of this router?
What is the CPU of the PC?
What is the model of the HDD in this PC?
There is no way a simple PC can process 1 Gbps of traffic much alone "speed test".
Try this test: Disable all the downstream ports of the stack of 2960X except one. Plug this PC back in and re-do the "speed test" . What is the result?

OK, deny the other downstream and retry the test later

What is the make and model of the router?
