Hello, I have a problem with policy-map,
Equipment: WS-C3560G-24TS
IOS: advipservicesk9-mz.122-25.SEE3
The policy-map is just not working, please look my the configuration below:
mls qos aggregate-policer 90Mbps 90000000 20000 exceed-action drop
policy-map 90Mbps
class ip-any
police aggregate 90Mbps
interface GigabitEthernet0/2
description ## KAKTUZ ##
switchport access vlan 3
switchport mode access
service-policy input 90Mbps
load-interval 30
spanning-tree portfast
end
The port upsteam usage is:
30 second input rate 127665000 bits/sec, 12589 packets/sec
while it should be 90mb + burst.
Actually it should be limited to 100Mbit but I was trying to play with it to gain the 100Mbit limit so I decreased it to 90Mbit, but as you see unfortunately it is not working.
I am running the same configuration on 2960G switch and it's working perfect.
Please help.

Make sure you are using the SDM routing template.
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/cat3750/12225see/scg/swsdm.htm
you will have to reboot the switch to have this take effect.

i am not using SDM, i am using CLI only

I was not referring to the SDM GUI interface.
Switches come with four SDM templates: Routing, vlans, default and access.
To configure the SDM template use the following command in the global configuration mode
sdm prefer routing
Anyway i misread your post to a PBR instead of policy-maps.

Thank you.
Yes I am working on a policy-map qos, do I still need to change the SDM prefer ?

The problem is not solved yet, I suspect that it is a bug. What should I do ?
All the configuration is correct, i also added classification by mac address to the policy-map and still 100mbit limited port uses 140mbit.
I've also noticed that sometimes when I limit a port the usage reduced much lower than the limit.
I do apply correct bucket size according to the Cisco formula
