I have a WS-C3750X-48T-S switch with module C3KX-NM-10G installed. In slots 2 and 4 I have 2 twinax cables running for 10g port connection. When I check the connections the switch does not recognize the 2 as connected, here is the interface status:
Gi1/1/1 UNUSED disabled auto auto Not Present
Gi1/1/2 UNUSED disabled auto auto unknown
Gi1/1/3 UNUSED disabled auto auto Not Present
Gi1/1/4 UNUSED disabled auto auto unknown
Te1/1/1 UNUSED notconnect full 10G Not Present
Te1/1/2 UNUSED disabled full 10G Not Present
Does anyone have a clue whether it maybe a configuration issue or perhaps it maybe a physical issue?
Switch model: WS-C3750X-48T-S
Module: C3KX-NM-10G
Transceiver: Panduit Corp - PSF1PXA2MBL
Thanks,

Your switch is not recognizing the 3rd party transceiver. You may be able to work around with "service unsupported transceiver" command. Using a compatible Cisco transceiver would work.

I ran the command and the same interface status shows up. I don't even get an error message about the 3rd party SFP in the first place for me to bypass the unsupported transceiver.

So the problem had nothing to do with the physical connections. I changed the switchport mode from access to trunk link and now everything is connected.

Also the Panduit cable I am using is PSF1PXA3MBU, not sure if that makes a difference
