Hello,

check the NIC of the Apache server, it could be faulty. You can configure the C4500 to drop packets with a source of 00:00:00:00:00:00"

C4500#conf t

C4500(config)#vlan 207

C4500(config-vlan-207)#static-mac-address 00:00:00:00:00:00 drop.

Hi Georg,

tha apache server connected to C4500 and the invalid mac address coming from the uplink to access switch. is there any way to trace this mac address?

thanks

Hello Mohammed,

your best option is probably to use Wireshark to trace the MAC address...

Hi Georg,

thanks for your reply.

do you want me to use the source is vlan 207 or ten1/1?

do you thing this issue from this invalid mac address?

Thanks

Hello,

source should be Vlan 207...

Unless you have some sort of multicasting configured on your network, the all zero MAC address is most likely invalid...

Hi,

we are not enable any multicast, but the issue happened once we receive this log.

Hi. Do you have IP Device Tracking enabled on your 3750-x stack?

Andy

Hi All,

No i dont have IP device tracking, but during the issue happened i have receive attached error in apache server. Is it related to network issue ?
