C6K_POWER-SP-4-PD_NOLINKUP

                   Hi All,

What could be the cause for this error.

Nov 21 09:48:52.142 IST: %C6K_POWER-SP-4-PD_NOLINKUP: The device connected to 2/6 is powered up but its link is not up in 5 seconds. Therefore, power is withdrawn from the port.

Hi Hemakumar,

From the message, it looks the link to IP phone did not come up in 5 sec. What type of device connected on this interface?

  • Could you check show power and verify does the swich has enough power avilable.
  • Please verify whether STP portfast enable on the interface 2/6 and
  • Try to shut and un shut the interface, then check the status
