C9200-24P spamming to log:

%IOSXE-3-PLATFORM: Switch 1 R0/0: kernel: i2c i2c-5: SCL is stuck low, exit recovery

Same issue in 17.3.4b, 17.3.5, 17.6.3, 17.7.1

Power Supply A not showing in “sh inventory” but showing in “sh inventory fru”

Power Supply A was removed and put in Power Supply B in another Switch for testing reasons.

Reset all to factory default didn’t help.

Any ideas?

CSCvp59825

Try downgrading firmware to 16.12.4.

@thomas.lutz, the CSCvp59825 shows fixed on those versions 17.3.4b, 17.3.5, 17.6.3, 17.7.1 you have used already and still see the error message.

You mentioned "Power Supply A was removed and put in Power Supply B in another Switch for testing reasons."

So what happened with that Power Supply A when inserted into another Switch on your network?

Any error message on that other Switch? is the PS recognized on that other Switch?

Do you still see the error message on your C9200-24P Switch while having the Power Supply A Power Slot empty ?

Also, probably this is not it, but, any debugs running on show debug?

I observe this on  [ C9200L-24T-4G ] running [ v17.14.01 ] ; It happens when a GLC-GE-100FX (v02) is inserted into Gi1/1/2
