I have two new C9500-48Y4C's that refuse to accept any stackwise related commands.
Test01(config)#stackwise
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
Test01(config)#stack?
stack-mac stackmaker stacks
No show commands work, the (config)#stackwise-virtual command does not work, none of the interface commands work. I have never come across this before. I have configured multiple 9500's with stackwise before on 16.10.x software without this issue. A colleague of mine has a C9500-24Y4C which recognizes all the commands on 16.12.x. I have tried 16.12.2, 16.12.03a and 16.12.4. Same problem on all of them. Anyone else had this issue?
Doing a show inventory reveals that it's hardware version V02, could this be a bug on new hardware? Does anyone know when V02 of the C9500-48Y4C was released?

Answered my own question, the switches were ordered with the wrong license...
