I am trying to calculate how many bytes are added to a packet as it traverses through the network. For example I send a 100 byte ping to my desktop and in wireshark it shows the length as 114. So tells me icmp adds 14 bytes. And then is there a way to tell in wire shark what bytes were added to the packet by which device?
