Can access Web UI

So i have a weird issue

I have set up my router and sg500 with Vlans, 10 + 20.

router is in L3 mode.

I have then cabled between the router (eth0) and sg500 (eth0), and ensured the port was trunked with both vlans assigned to the port as tagged.

I have added an interface IP for VLAN 10 and 20 on the sg500

I have made eth 10 on the sg500 as an access port. and assigned it vlan 10 untagged. The laptop cannot connect and does not get DHCP from the router.

I changed eth 10 to a trunk port with VLAN 1 as untagged, and vlan 10 as tagged, I can now get an IP from dhcp, and can access the router. But i cant access the web gui of the switch.

If i change eth 10 to a trunk port and assign it VLAN 10 untagged, I can get an IP and access the web gui of the sg500. but can no longer connect to the router...

does any one have any ideas?

(side question, end users should be given an access port, but when i configure that, i get no access at all)
