Can Cisco ws-c3850-48T-E stack with ws-c3850-12s-E?

Hi guys,

I am trying to data-stack 3850-48T-E and C3850-12S-E however the switches hung and keep rebooting. when I check on the provision, I cant actually provision 12S but only 48/24-T. Just wish to double confirm if stacking the 2 is possible?

just to add on:

I can only see the below switches that I can provision :

sw#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line.  End with CNTL/Z.

Once your major and minor numbers match in the ios-xe version you should be able to stack even though there different platforms

Yes but you'll need to upgrade the IOS of the 3850-48T to the same (or later) version than what is found in the 3850-12S.  3850-12S cannot run 3.2.X IOS.
