Can I run IOS 15.0(2)SG9 instead of 15.0(2)SG8 on CAT 4506 with Supervisor V?

Hello All,

   I was wondering if I can run IOS 15.0(2)SG9 instead of 15.0(2)SG8 on a Catalyst 4506 with Supervisor V module?

   It does load just fine and appear to be working but do you think this will be fine in production? 

   Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Since the major releases are the same, there shouldn't be much of a difference between the 2 except some bug fixes.

If it loads fine and you don't see any issue and the switch is working fine then it should ok for production as well.
