Yes.  I believe VSS support for Sup8E starts with IOS XE version 3.6.0E.

Hi,

Yes! It'll work. Below is the release notes for your reference where this is confirmed. 

I have seen case where 3.3.1XO -> 3.6.0E will work just fine for VSS support.
