I am sure this is a easy question to answer.
I do not have access to leaf switch to check on this.
Can you set port speed on a leaf switch?
Reason why I ask is, Changing the IDS sensor to IPS sensor.
IDS is a tap and IPS sensor is inline setup
I do not want to IPS sensor hardware to start failing because of so much data that is being sent to it.
If some can recommend the setup for this, would help this

Can you set port speed on a leaf switch?
Depends on the media used for the switch. If the switch is connected using fibre optic, then the answer is no. If the switch is connected using copper then there's a chance the answer is yes.

Hi ,
A 9396 will run at 1gig with a GLCT 1gig copper SFP. Have a look on the below link for fabric access policy for more clarity.
