CAT OS Running on 6500

In IOS, you can configure each individual ports on a module to run either Pagp or LACP or mix and match.  How does it work with Cat-OS running 8.x.  I did some search on CCO, and according to a document the entire module needs to be converted from default PAGP to LACP by "Set channelprotocol LACP 1 to set module 1 for LACP.  Does Cat-OS run PAGP by default?

I already have switch running Cat-OS  connected to another switch with port-channels (pagp by default), but need to convert some of the ports on the module to support LACP so I can connect to my HP Virtual Connect/C7000 blade enclosure.  Is it possible to convert to LACP on port basis only?

Thanks,

In CatOS the etherchannel protocol is per module.  Only running native IOS is it done on a per port basis.
