Hi Guys,
I have a failed 6506 IOS switch. Can you look into it and see if its a chassis problem or module problem ?

Hi Praful,
From the outputs that you have shared, I see that modules 1, 2 and 3 have experienced a major error. Do you have a redundant supervisor on the switch and was there a supervisor failover ? ( check under "show redundancy" output ). Do you see any crashinfo file generated ?

I agree with Chaitra. Module 1 & 3 has failed a Loopback test. These two needs to be RMA-ed.
Wait ... there's one way of testing if the modules or the backplane has failed.
Move the two modules to different slots other than 1 and 3. If you get the same error message then the blades are dead (very coincidental) but if yuo don't get any errors then you have a backplane issue.
I'm leaning towards a backplane.
