Catalys 3850 is power up but doesn´t work.

Hi.

The switch was decided to be replaced to assign it to another activity since it was fully operational. Then, on my desk, when connecting the switch, the high speed of the fans is heard for about 4 seconds, then it enters at normal speed and does not turn on any led of the switch. The redundant source are fine and the fans are fine too. It does not show anything from console port.

Hi,

It appears that the power supply has gone bad. If the switch has redundant PSUs, try using one power supply at a time.

I've already try it but it didn't work. I tried both power supply on other switch and they worked fine.

Looks for me some input power source issue or reseat the PSU removing each one at a time and test it.

If the device has 2 PSUs, remove both of them, try one at a time in a different slot  ( and try with other PSU same proceedure  too)

is this another location you removed from is that working there? can you take it back there and power it again and check?
