Catalyst 1000 SFP GE-100FX

Hi Guys, 

are there any plans to support GLC-GE-100FX= for Catalyst 1000. I looked into supported sfp list, but there was no support.

if that is not in the support list, most likely they do not support backward compatable, (Cat 1000 is new model of switches, so cisco Look forward next generation SFP to be in place, as old one decommissioning part of  migration work).

(personally if you have device and SFP, i do test ) some case it works - not all the time.

Can you post the complete Log when you inserted the SFP to erro disable Logs. (post the interface config ?)

(i take this is Cisco SFP, not vendor equivalent ) ?
