We have a catalyst 2950 switch running:
IOS (tm) C2950 Software (C2950-I6K2L2Q4-M), Version 12.1(22)EA6, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
This release doesnt have the snmp-server enable traps errdisable command.
Could anyone suggest where to look on the cisco site for the next avalible release for me that would have this command in place?
Thanks

Hello,
I send you a link to the latest IOS supported by the switch. The command is not supported:
You can use syslog mib that allow to send in a trap every time a log message is generated. So, if you have a message in you log
about the errdisable issue, a traps will be send. The commad is:
snmp-server enable traps syslog
Regards.

Thanks Antonio
Bit annoying as our 3560 and higher end switches all have the command. all good though as NMs im setting up will recieve both and issue the same alert.
