Catalyst 3750G Series PoE-48 Switch Problem

Hello,

I have problems with this switch when I turn it on, all the LEDs on the panel stay on (see photo) and it does not give me Console (see photo) to be able to recover the configuration.

Could someone please give me some suggestion on this.

Thanks in advance.

 - If no console output is seen ,then possible fatal hardware issue ; thing to try 1) cold-power-cycle and or included with factory reset.

nothing much we can do if no console.

may be try below, if not  device gone bad.

  • Remove the Power Cord
  • Plug the Power cable - Hold down the "Mode" button for 30 seconds and release;
  • The switch will reboot into factory default;   ( see you see anything on console) - if not mostly bad  board.

What do you mean?

I need to restore the configutation because I have another new switch.

There was never a backup of the configuration. The previous IT did not leave documentation of it

I did the reset factory and nothing happened, everything stayed the same.

I think of it got a bad board.

Thank you so much for your help!

CP

i would spend more time building the new switch config, rather than waste time on the dead kit.

Note: Always suggested network backup is a must. (so you will save lot of time)
