Hi to all,
we have a Catalyst 4503 switch. Is this switch is capable of Layer 3 switching? If not, what module do i need? this one uses IOS, not CatOS.
thanks in advance

It depends on the Supervisor Module, let's see the model, type:
show module
and post it here.

This is an L3 supervisor which meanns it can switch as well as it can route. Routing is infact enabled by default on this sup. All you need to do is create L3 interfaces / SVIs and enable routing protocols or use static routing. This sup supports BGP , OSPF , IS-IS , EIGRP , RIP and multicast routing.
