If you insert a Cisco SFP GLC-SX Module in one of the Uplink Ports, who support SFP+ and SFP it doesn't work!
Is there any way how to define the Uplinkport to use only 1Gig SFP?
By the way, all SFP+ work without any problem.

Hi Tim,
I think you're looking for this command
#hw-module uplink select [options]
A good reference:
A reboot is required to change modes.

Hi Tim,
We have got this working now. All that needs to be done is connect the SFP and cable and it auto detects the speed.
Just a reminder that when you have redundant sups, that the uplinks on ports 3/4 on both sups become disabled and only uplinks 1/2 are active.
But there is a specific way that you can connect up 10Gig and 1Gig. Have a look at fig 2 of this document, it shows the squence.
