Ok, thanks. According to the Cisco whitepaper on 4500 licensing:
"If for any reason the system reloads and the "license boot level ipbase | entservices" IOS CLI is saved as part of startup-configuration, the system overrides the base license, and continues to boot in the license level specified in the IOS CLI, even though it is expired. This behavior might be changed in future when licenses will be enforced.
If for any reason the system reloads and the "license boot level ipbase | entservices" IOS CLI is NOT saved as part of startup-configuration, the system will boot in the default LAN Base license."
Hope this helps.

When you say say you activated the IP Base license, do you mean you used your PAK to obtain download and install the .lic file on the switch? (license install bootflash:___.lic) Did you then reload the switch for it to apply the license fully?
If you have, then please run the command:
show license image level

I used the evaluation license IP Base, that comes with the switch.
The switch license is LAN Base.
show license image levels
Module name Image level Priority Configured Valid license
--------------------------------------------------------------------
WS-X45-SUP7L-E entservices 1 NO entservices
ipbase 2 YES ipbase
lanbase 3 NO lanbase
Module Name Role Current Level Reboot Level
--------------------------------------------------------------------
WS-X45-SUP7L-E Active ipbase ipbase

Hi
The Licenses boot command is set to IP Base, then if switch reloads it will keep this license, even if the license if a evaluation one.
If I change the license boot command to license boot level lanbase the next reboot I will get the switch with lanbase license and the "No valid license found" might dissapears?
Thanks
