Catalyst 9000 port setting requirement for iSCSI

Can anyone help to mention the best practice on catalyst 9000 switch for iSCSI connection if jumbo frame is needed.

Hello,

the 9500 does not support the MTU on a per-interface basis, so if you need jumbo frame support, you need to globally set the mtu size (system mtu). That will set the MTU on all ports, and that is your only option...

If I configure the MTU globally, would it affects the other connection performance which is using MTU 1500 normal size?

1. Such as if I have another switches (MTU 1500 ) connect to C9500, how about the performance?

2. If i have another server (Cisco UCS C240) RJ45 port connect to C9500 which is MTU 1500, how about the performance?

Now, from IOS XE 17.1.1 you can configure per-port MTU.
