Catalyst 9300 Protocol Support

Does it?:

  1. Supports Virtual Switching System (VSS) or Inteligent Resilence Framework (IRF) or Virtual Switching Framework (VSF).
  2. User authentication can be configured for 802.1X, Web-Based Authentication, and MAC-Based Authentication.
  3. Able to monitor traffic according to sFlow standards.
  4. OpenFlow can be implemented as well as support REST APIs for software-defined networks.

  5. Able to work in accordance with IEEE802.1ad standard.

Catalyst 9200/9200L and 9300 do not support VSS because they already have stacking.

9400, 9500 and 9600 support VSS (aka Switch Virtual).

Except point 1  - everything works as expected  ( VSS - new Term StackWise Virtual ) not support in this modell, but traditional stacking allowed and  supported.
