Catalyst 9300 smart license specific license reservation

Hi Everyone,

Any one successfully activated smart license using offline SLR method ?

How do we generate Smart license Specific reservation request code on Catalyst 9300 switches running in IOS 16.9.3 ?

Not all the product support i belive ( I have not tried it)

The smart licensing configuration document for the release 16.9.X does not have license reservation steps and from IOS 16.9.1 onward only supported license model is smart  , no more right to use licenses.

I am checking with TAC now.

Any update to SLR on the 16.9 and above.  This would eliminate Cisco switch sales in the US DOD market space.  They won't allow call home communications through their Firewalls to Cisco even for their unclassified networks.

You can follow below procedure to activate SLR on catalyst 9300 switches.

You may need to include your Cisco account team to activate license reservation of smart account.
