Catalyst 9400 chassis additional line cards

Hi community,

I would like to add 2 more line cards on a existing virtual stacking switch consists of 2 9407r chassis. My question here is that I simply shutdown both 9400 chassis then add the 2 line cards and then boot them up again? Is any official guide how you can add additional line cards on existing active 9400 chassis.

As long you are not using Supervise Slot as mentioned - you can insert the module online.
