What´s up!!
I have a problem with my catalyst 520 series switch, The alert led is ambar all the time, reviewing the alert log, the problem is that the switch is running from the default factory image, When I clear the error the alert led turns off, but at next refresh the error appears again.
Would somebody help me with this problem??
Thanks!!!

Gabriel,
I think you must do an UPGRADE of IOS.
Maybe tha actual IOS has a bug.
Best regards.

Hey Roger!! Thanks a lot for your quick answer...
I have 4 switches and all of them where upgrated at the time, 3 of them has the same problem, so do you think i must upgrde them again?
And If you think so, Would you send me a kind of tutorial or the guideline I have to follow??
I really appreciate your help....

We have the same problem on several switches.
You can clear the alert LED, but it just comes back in 30 seconds or so.
All switches are the latest firmware (12.2.37 EX), so flashing the firmware can't be the solution.
Hard/soft reset did not work. Does anyone have a solution?

The alert is showing up because the system boot path is wrong. Update the system boot path and the alert disappears.
Ex. boot system flash:/ce520-lanbasek9-mz.122-37.EX.bin
