I'm following the partner VT now and yes it is a 17.18 release function. I personally won't need it any time soon because all my deployments use MST just to avoid intervendor issues.
I'm sure I have it on a network with device configured Catalyst switches, but I can't confirm it as the dashboard won't load most of the pages from that shard at the moment... 🤬
