catOS Help on Mac-address-table command

Hi,

could anyone point me in the right direction. not too catOS savvy

I need to get the mac addresses and ip addresses off a few interfaces to which servers are connected to on a 6500 catOS switch. could point me to the commands i can issue to get these?

to get the mac address try using "sh cam dynamic [interface #]

Hello Gerald,

the command listed by Mandlenkosi is correct, here is a further reference to it:

additionally, once you have the mac entry from the above command, you would need to find the ARP entries from the MSFC (if that is what you require as well).
