Change from .tar file to .bin in a 3750 that will join a stack wich has .bin structure

The 3750 has today the file structure where

System image file is "flash:/c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-58.SE2/c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-58.SE2.bin"

When trying  to copy with "copy ftp flash" I get an error message “Image is not a valid IOS image”, I guess this is because

the switch is loaded with the archive command, .tar file.

How can I change from .tar to only .bin since the switch will be a member of a stack where the flash looks like

Directory of flash:/

I also shell downgrade the switch

The file you posted shows .bin.  If ftp does not work, try loading the image from a tftp server.

HTH

can you please post the error you get.  A screen shot.
