Change Spanning tree diameter ?

Hi,

Is there any way to change the Spanning tree diameter of 7 switches on a 3550 ?

This is purely for study purposes.

Nope. the command reference says you can change the diameter from 2 - 7. the 3550 global command to change STP diameter starts with "spanning-tree vlan".

You can only change it between 2-7, neither less nor more can be configured.
