Change the boot var

Hi

I am facing a issue with a MSFC card.

When i enter the boot statement as below

boot system flash bootflash:<image name> and when i see the output using show boot it displays the image name which i specified in the above statement appended to the existing image.

And when i remove the boot statements for which the other files are specified it doesnt modifies the bootvar.

Kindly advice how can i change the bootvar.

Hi,

Have you saved the running config? The bootvar isn't updated until you "copy run start"
