Changing a VLAN name on DNAC

Hi there,

I have a vlan and IP address pool created for a company on my site. The company has now had a name change and they are asking for a VLAN with that name. Rather than complete the whole process again I was wondering if there's a way to change the VLAN name and if so does it have any affects on dnac?

I can change the name of the address pool no problem. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

                      - Check if this could be applicable (not tried myself and or not verified) :

  1. Log in to the Cisco DNA Center web interface.

  2. Navigate to the "Design" tab and select "Network Devices" from the drop-down menu.

  3. Select the network device on which you want to change the VLAN name, and then click on the "Device Details" button.

  4. In the "Device Details" page, select the "VLANs" tab.

  5. In the "VLANs" tab, select the VLAN for which you want to change the name.

  6. Click on the "Edit" button to open the VLAN editing page.

  7. In the "VLAN ID" field, you will see the current VLAN name. To change the name, simply enter the new name in this field and click "Save"

  8. The new VLAN name will be propagated to all the devices that are part of the VLAN

Hi @Mark Elsen

I don't actually have a "Network Devices" tab under Design and I checked under most of the tabs to see if I could find it in a different location but I don't seem to have that option.

Hello! Does anybody have a solution to this issue? I am also experiencing the same issue that OP had.
