Virtual StackWise on Cat9606R - mgmt ips

Hi Fellow members, I need to enable virtual stackwise on 2 x Cat9606R chassis. Before I start with the Stackwise config, I need to do some initial config on both the switches, like assigning it a mgmt ip address, password and so on...

My question is - should both the switches be given a different management ip address initially for the stackwise configuration, and when they get established as a single virtual-switch the mgmt ip from the active switch will be one that takes over?

you don't need to necessarily set up IP address initially for stackwise virtual configuration. see the config here

When you building SVL (only 1 MGMT port active on Master or active role) secondary will be only activated when it switch over.

So the Configuration of management port will be replicated automatically to secondary (that means same IP address used)

This is stackwise virtual' so SVI and mgmt IP for each one is different.

But show of active and standby if you access is SAME
