I am in need of changing the public IP on an ASA, but doing it remotely. Anyone have an ideas on how to do that? I was thinking I would have to edit the startup-config somehow, but Im not sure how I would do that. I would need to change the public IP and also the default route. Maybe even some static NATs (not sure if they have any). Anyway, if anyone has any ideas on how to just change the public IP address and the default route, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

You can make config changes and tftp them to the ASA, only to affect the startup config. The changes will not take affect until a reload.
copy tftp startup-config is the command.
