Hi,
I want to know why the same configuration is not working in cisco switch i.e cisco 2900 series.
below is the configuration which is not working and the same configuration is working in another switch.
I configured the same switch with below configuration and made the the fastethernet port 0/48 as trunk and tried to connect with juniper switch which is also in trunk mode and passing all the vlans through it. but still its not getting up.
Please help here with this.
Thanking you all in advance.

Can you post the output to the command "sh vlan"?
07-03-2015 11:23 PM
instance 1 vlan 12-18, 20-21, 24-49, 70, 73, 75, 100, 151
Do these VLANs exist in your VLAN Database?
07-03-2015 11:45 PM
Yes I these are the existing vlan with instance 1.
By default there is 0 instance but we have created instance 1 for all vlans.
Is there any problem with instance?? I don't think instance will create any prob here.
once I am getting the correct root id if i am giving the command of show spanning-tree.
Anything I am missing here????

Hi Leo Laohoo and InayathUlla Sharieff ,
Thank you very much.
I configured the trunk port again and now its up.
Thank you very much for your suggestion.

Vinay,
Leo means to say do you see all the vlans under" show vlan" command?
interface FastEthernet0/48
switchport mode trunk
no ip address
cAn you try explicitly configuring the command switchport trunk allowed vlan all?
Else provide us the outpt of show int trunk?
