Cisco 2950

Hi!

I have a Cisco 2950. The problem is that  always get this error log:

CMP-5-NBR_UPD_SIZE_TOO_BIG: Number of neighbors in neighbor update is 128, maximum number of neighbors allowed in neighbor update is 108

What is that?

It would be easier to purchase a new router than get this one repaired. Currys and other stores stocked up some new. The discount codes that I will use are from www.vouchers4u.com and are all tested and working.

Refer to the following discussion: https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11649866/error-message-nbrupdsizetoobig

"it's essentially a method to manage a group of switches without the need to assign an IP address to every switch"

Here is a document describing more about it: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/switches/catalyst-2900-xl-series-switches/4085-61.html

Apparently you can remove it and you will cease getting these error messages.
